House Rules

Please treat the house as if it was your own. It’s our home.

- Please take shoes off before going upstairs in the East Wing. The carpet is brand new!

​

- Young children must be under adult supervision whilst using the pool and being in the garden. Please note that we cannot take

responsibility for injuries or accidents occurring to persons or

personal property during your stay

- Croix Petite is a non-smoking house

​

- Because the buildings are very old, things like doors, windows and

so forth may not function as smoothly as a modern house.

Please be gentle with fittings and never force anything.

- In common with most rural houses in France, we aren't connected

 to a municipal sewage system, but instead we have a 'fosse

septique' or septic tank. Please DO NOT put anything down the

toilet other than toilet paper! Any other sanitary products can

block the fosse septique, and we don’t want you to incur the

expense of resolving the problem.

 

- For safety reasons no glasses are to be taken the pool area. You’ll find a supply of plastic crockery in the kitchen cabinet so feel free to use this instead.

 

- There is a BBQ available for your use. Please clean after use, and do not light any other form of fire. The fireplace in the lounge is not insured for guest's use.
